Until April 2005 in a key racecar performance development role within the dominant Ferrari Formula 1 team. Left Formula 1 because felt the new rules (no engine development, less electronics, no tire development, etc) go against the fundamental spirit and attraction of Formula 1. With racecars now prefer working with series such as Formula Renault, A1GP and the new Superleague Formula.

Focused on the introduction of new "intelligent" sensor and simulation technologies for racing cars, battlespace integration, UAV's, road car active safety, energy and emissions and the private space industry. Not only the hardware and software but also on the parallel necessary evolution of the tools and processes for systems engineering and quality management.

10 years of experience, MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology.

In November 2007 named by Dutch engineering magazine "De Ingenieur" as one of the 10 best Dutch engineers younger than 40.
